After six months stationed in Afghanistan the families of servicemen due home tonight are telling Heart how they're getting ready to welcome them back.

The families, friends and colleagues will be welcoming home 122 personnel of 2 Sqn RAF Regiment, based at RAF Honington near Bury St Edmunds later this evening.

The Squadron will have completed a six month tour at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan, having left the UK back in October 2011.

The Squadron CO, Squadron Leader ‘Jules’ Weekes, will march his personnel into the Jimmy James Hangar at RAF Honington to a welcome from all the families who have been making posters and banners to greet them.
