Police are appealing for witnesses or the man described to come forward after a child was approached on Sunday 17 February, in Sudbury.
It happened between 12.45pm and 1pm in Chelsea Road. A girl was playing in the street when she was approached by a dark coloured vehicle that stopped beside her. The man inside the vehicle tried to speak with the girl but she ran away. The car drove off.
The man is described as a white man with a tanned complexion, had black ear-length curly hair, had a long beard and was wearing glasses, a green t-shirt and was driving a blue or black coloured vehicle.
Officers are asking for the man described, anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the man described to contact Sudbury Police on 101.
