The events line up for the Suffolk Show 2012 has been announced today.

Details of the line up for the Suffolk Show 2012 are to be revealed at an event at Trinity Park on Thursday (22nd March), where organisers are expected to announce some new attractions in what is hoped to be the biggest and best Show ever.

The Suffolk Show, which is in its 180th year, and which takes place this year on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th June in order to accommodate the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, is Suffolk’s biggest event of the calendar.

One of the biggest things this year will be an Olympic sports village, where you'll be able to try out lots of things.

Chris Bushby is one of the organisers and told Heart "We've invested around £80,000 so that people, whatever age or ability can have a go at these sports."

Bill Tancred from Suffolk Sport told Heart "This is a wonderful way to show off what's available, with so many people attending.

"Hopefully once they say what can be done in terms of keeping fit and active it'll leave a great legacy."
