Ascot: Man Charged With Attempted Murder

Thames Valley Police has charged two men after a man was hit by a car in Ascot on Sunday morning.

At around 3.20am on Sunday, a 24-year-old man from London, was hit by a car as he was walking near the Esso Garage on Ascot High Street. 

He's still in a critical condition in hospital. 

22-year-old Ricky Clarke-Dilly from Grampian Way in Slough has been charged with attempted murder, section 18 GBH with intent, and driving whilst over the prescribed alcohol limit. 

20-year-old Ryan Quartermaine from Mead Avenue in Slough has been charged with perverting the course of justice. 

Both were remanded into custody to appear at Slough Magistrates Court this morning.

Two other men, aged 20 and 24, also from Slough were arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed until 10th December.
