A 48-year-old man from Basingstoke has had to have surgery to re-attach his fingers after they were bitten off during a fight in Churchill Way.
It happened outside Poison Bar in the early hours of the morning of Sunday 17th November.
A number of people are thought to have been involved in fights in the beer garden and in a nearby car park, which then spilled out onto Alencon Link and near to Eastrop Roundabout.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
So far two men aged 19 and 28 have been arrested and bailed, pending further enquiries.
Detective Constable Tracy West said:
"This was a serious incident where a man sustained a nasty injury.
"There were a number of people involved in this incident and fights spilled out into the road. Drivers would have had to swerve to miss these people and may have seen what was going on.
"Many people have already come forward, but I would like to urge anyone who saw anything and hasn't already spoken to an officer, to get in touch."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC West at Basingstoke CID on 101 or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
