It's hoped more adopted children in Berkshire from troubled backgrounds will get help settling into their new homes
The charity PACT - has started a counselling service - called FACTS (Fostering and Adoption Consultation Therapeutic Service) . It's aiming to work with around 20 to 30 families every year.
The service, along with a new therapy room, is based at the PACT Head Offices in Reading.
It's to help children who have had troubled backgrounds and may have been abused or neglected.
PACT has also appraoched local schools for support with the project after Wilson Primary School in Reading chose it as its charity.
