Christmas tree growers have the chance to see their tree outside Number 10 Downing Street at a competition in Berkshire.

The British Christmas Tree Growers Association champion the use of sustainable real Christmas trees.

It's the 13th time the competition has been held at Yattendon, near Newbury, with the winner getting their tree placed outside 10 Downing Street.

The competition's divided into five categories, pine, fir, spruce, container growth and wreath.

The judges decide which tree wins based on foliage, colour, shape and marketability.

The best wreath will be decorated and placed on the Prime Minister's black door throughout the festive season.
