A man’s been jailed for life for murdering his wife in Bicester.
Andrew Parsons, 38, attacked his partner Janee, 31, at their home in Lucerne Avenue.
She’d previously told him she wanted a separation – Oxford Crown Court heard that led to a series of rows between the couple.
The jury was told Parsons had even taped a recording device under his wife’s bed, in the hope of finding out details of her relationship with another man.
But instead that captured in harrowing detail the attack on December 1 last year.
The jury was played the tape – including a section where one of the couple’s young sons could be heard begging for his father to stop.
Parsons was told by the judge he would serve a minimum of 20 years for the murder.
