Buckingham: Latest On Unexplained Death

Three men, questioned in connection with the death of a woman in Buckingham, have now been bailed.
Police were called by paramedics who were attending a ‘medical episode’ in Addington Road around 11pm.
The 24-year-old woman, named as Catherine Ellis from the town, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital. She was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem examination carried out found the cause of death to be inconclusive pending further toxicology results.
Detecive Chief Inspector Gill Wootton has issued this statement:
“We have launched an investigation at this time to ascertain the circumstances around the woman’s death and determine the cause behind it.
“At this time a formal identification of the woman has not taken place. A post mortem examination of the woman’s body will take place tomorrow (23rd January 2014).”
Three men, aged 18, 26 and 34, arrested in connection with the death have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
