Didcot: Memorial Held For Jayden Parkinson

A memorial service has been taking place in memory of a teenager, whose body was found in a disturbed grave in Didcot

Friends of Jayden Parkinson, who was last seen alive at the start of December, will pay tribute at All Saints church in Lydalls Road.

The 17-year-old's body was discovered in Great Western Cemetery, next to All Saints Church, Didcot, on 18 December. 

Heart's hearing pupils from Jayden's former school were among those taking part in the service from 4pm on Saturday 25th January 2014, with white balloons released in her memory.

The head of Jayden's former school - the Didcot Girls' School also paid tribute in December: "We are deeply sad to hear this tragic news; Jayden was a member of the Didcot Girls' School community until the end of the last academic year and she will be missed by all who knew her. Our very best wishes go to Jayden's friends and family at this very difficult time."

A 22 year old from Reading has been charged with murder.

A 17-year-old boy from Didcot has been charged with perverting the course of justice and is due in court in March.
