Henley Royal Regatta

Thousands of people are heading to Henley Royal Regatta over the next 5 days.
British gold medallists like Andy Triggs Hodge, Pete Reed, Alex Gregory and Helen Glover look set to be amongst a strong home contingent, giving them the chance to row in front of the Henley crowd for the first time since winning their 2012 medals.
A total of 470 crews have entered this year’s Regatta, including 86 crews from 22 overseas countries.
There are temporary traffic restrictions in Remenham/Henley between Wednesday 3rd July 2013 and Sunday 7th July 2013.
- Remenham Church Lane, Remenham will be one-way only northbound and Remenham Lane, Remenham will be one-way southbound only between 08:00 and 16:00 hours on the above dates to facilitate traffic entering the area.
- Remenham Church Lane, Remenham will be one-way only southbound and Remenham Lane, Remenham will be one-way northbound only from 16:00 hours until late on the above dates to facilitate traffic exiting the area.
A temporary Clearway Traffic Order will be in effect in Remenham Lane and Remenham Church Lane during the above times to ensure that there will be no obstructions caused by parked vehicles. An 18 tonne weight limit will also be in force on the above roads to prevent damage being done to the public highway. In addition;
- Remenham Lane, Remenham will be closed to all vehicles except resident requiring access between 07:00 and 21:00 hours Wednesday to Friday and Sunday and between 07:00 hours Saturday and 01:00 hours Sunday morning.
- Remenham Lane and Remenham Church Lane will be closed to traffic entering for approximately 10 – 15 minutes at 16:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to facilitate the reversal of the one-way system.
