A Thames Valley Police officer has been charged with selling personal information to two other men.
Sugra Hanif from Banbury has been charged with obtaining/disclosing personal data, contravening data protection laws and conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office.
The other two men are Raza Khan, 26, from Ivy Road in Birmingham, who's also charged with conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office and data protection offences and Paramjeet Kaur, 25, from the same address, who is charged with conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office.
Hanif, 26 and from Bretch Hilli, is alleged to have sold personal information to Khan and Kaur between January 2011 and 30 September 2011.
All three are due to appear at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (24/1).
