Oxford West and Abingdon MP Nicola Blackwood has been granted a Backbench Business Debate in the House of Commons Chamber today on 'Child Sexual Exploitation'.

She says she wants to stop children across the country becoming victims of exploiation:

"We are almost daily reading of child sex abuse scandals both historic and current, from the Savile allegations to the widely reported cases of child sexual exploitation gangs in Rochdale, Derby and Rotherham."

It also comes after an alleged child trafficking ring was discovered in Oxford earlier this year.

The Debate should start at 12.30pm after Ministry of Justice Questions.
