Planned severe travel disruption to the A34 has been cancelled.
An abnormal load was due to be moved from Didcot Power Station and would have caused long delays in the area from 7pm tonight.
The convoy (which takes up both lanes of a carriageway) only travels at a maximum speed of 10mph and would have effectively closed the southbound A34 from Didcot to the M4 Junction 13.
However, there is a fault with the lorry which means the load is now due to be moved next Friday (29th) instead.
