Oxfordshire: Post Mortem After Death Of Baby

A post mortem examination has been carried out as part of Thames Valley Police’s investigation into the sudden unexplained death of an infant.
The post mortem examination took place yesterday (20/11) but results are unlikely to be known for at least a week.
The Force received a report at 2.57am (17/11). that an 11-week-old boy had collapsed at a property in Faringdon at 6pm the previous evening.
The boy had been taken to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, by land ambulance and was later transferred to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children where he sadly died of his injuries at 10.30pm on Tuesday (18/11).
A 21-year-old man from Faringdon was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on Monday (17/11).
On Tuesday (18/11) he was released on police bail until 2 February 2015.
