Purley: Crash Kills Two Cyclists

Police investigating a crash which killed two cyclists in Purley on Thames have charged a man
Thames Valley Police has charged a man in connection with a crash in which two cyclists died on Thursday 3rd February 2014.
Alexander Farrar Walters, aged 31, from Beech Road, Purley on Thames, has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, one count of aggravated vehicle taking, one count of driving while disqualified, and one count of using a vehicle without insurance.
He will appear before Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday (17/2).
The charge relates to a crash on the A329 Purley Rise at 9pm, in which two cyclists, aged 30 and 39, died.
Thames Valley Police has referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and tell us due to this, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.
