Police are investigating an alleged rape in Aylesbury.
It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning – a 49-year-old woman was out with friends in the Mendoza’s nightclub, when she was introduced to a man and danced with him.
Police say when she left the club, he went with her to the top of Market Square and they got in a maroon-coloured taxi together.
They got out of the car in the St Hilda’s Court and St Anthony Close area – the woman says the man then raped her in the back garden of a property.
Officers say they were told about the attack at 2.40am on Sunday and a full investigation is now underway.
The man is believed to be of Albanian origins. He’s described as being in his forties, around 5ft 6ins tall, slim, with mousey-brown short hair.
He was wearing a short-sleeved top, jeans and black shoes.
Police say they want to speak to anyone who saw the man in the club, in Market Square or in the area where the attack happened. They also want to talk to the taxi driver.
Anyone with information should call Detective Inspector Deborah Goff on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
