A 30 year old man has been charged with attempted murder over a stabbing in Reading
Christopher Maze of Managua Close in Caversham has been charged with attempted murder following the attack in Reading on Tuesday 7th January 2014, as well as one count of breach of bail.
The charge relates to a 58-year-old man being stabbed in Hills Meadow Car Park, George Street, Reading at around 6pm on Tuesday.
He sustained two puncture wounds to his neck and a cut to his ribs and is currently at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, where he is in a stable condition. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Maze was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court this morning.
