A mum from Reading has told Heart why she's campaigning to get a new zebra crossing installed.
Emma Simpson-Holland has started a petition calling for the traffic measures to be improved on Dee Road, outside her children's school - English Martyrs Primary in Reading.
It's after she struggled to cross safely with her children.
She said: "It's scary. It's so dangerous. In the mornings there have been so many near misses with parents and children that it's now become uncountable.
"I'm fearful that one day there will be serious injury or worse."
Now the MP for Reading West, Alok Sharma has pledged his support to the campaign.
So far, the petition has been signed more than 500 times but Emma insists she won't give up until a crossing is installed.
