Police are still searching for a man from Berkshire reported missing by his family a week ago.

Timothy Alexander Painter from Pangbourne was last seen in the Prospect Park area of Reading on the 21/3 at around 9.30am.

There are concerns about Timothy’s mental health, and his family and police are growing increasingly worried about his welfare.

He is described as white, 6ft 2ins, of average build with short dark hair, thinning on top with sideburns and he has green/blue eyes.

He is believed to be wearing dark navy weatherproof trousers, possibly a blue t-shirt and industrial-style black boots.

The police helicopter was sent up to help with the initial search while a team of volunteers from the Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue and Berkshire Search Dogs also went out with officers.

If you know of Timothy’s whereabouts, please call the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101 and quote URN 817 of 21 March.
