Two In Court Over Newcastle Body Find

A man and a woman have appeared in court charged over the death of a man whose body was found in a park in Newcastle.
The body of 49 year old Peter Hedley, of Burdon Terrace, Bedlington, was found at Newburn Riverside Park on Friday.
50 year old Clare Humble,of the same address, was remanded in custody by magistrates as was 39 year old Lee Nicholson, of Lydford Court, Newcastle, who is charged with perverting the course of justice.
They will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on Wednesday (12th November).

The body of 49 year old Peter Martin Hedley of Burdon Terrace, in Bedlington, Northumberland, was discovered in Newburn Riverside Park on Friday.
50-year-old Clare Louise Humble, also of Burdon Terrace, has been charged with his murder.
Northumbria Police said 39 year old Lee Nicholson, of Lydford Court, Newcastle, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Both will appear at Bedlington Magistrates' Court this morning.

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in a park in Newcastle.
The body, which hasn't been identified yet, was found in undergrowth at Newburn Riverside Park on Friday.
A 39-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in police custody.

A body has been found in undergrowth in Newcastle Park.
Police were called to Newburn Riverside Park at 11.30am this morning.
They tell us a cordon will stay in place until tomorrow evening.
