St David Awards 2015 Launched
Wales' First Minister is asking us to nominate those people who go above and beyond for our communities.
Entries for the second St David Awards close in just over a month's time.
They celebrate extraordinary people across Wales - with categories including enterprise, sport and culture.
Carwyn Jones says the first awards were a big sucess. He said: "People were there who do incredible work that we didn't know about but other people did.
"There were several people who won awards last year who were a real inspiration to others in their community and our nation generally"
Lollipop lady Karin Williams from Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan was one of 2014 winners.
She got a bravery award after stepping in front of an out of control car - protecting primary school children crossing the road.
She said: "It was amazing. I didn't expect to win so when I did win the award - it was fantastic. The award wasn't just for me but for the hospital staff as well, they deserve part of the award, definately.
"It is very important because otherwise people will be brushed under the carpet who do deserve recognition".
There is just over a month to nominate someone who has made a difference in your community.
