House fire victims laid to rest

Hundreds attend the funeral of a mother and her two sons who died in a house fire on Anglesey.

Heather Bickley, 46, was killed along with her sons Felix, 10 and Oscar, 6, when their house was engulfed in flames.

The fire service have said the fire at the property in Tyn-y-Gongl, near Marianglas on Anglesey, North Wales, isn't suspicious.

Hundreds attended the funeral on Wednesday at the crematorium in Bangor, 30 police officers made a guard of honour as the procession passed though.

Pupils from the school the two boys attended, Ysgol Goronwy Owen in Benllech, were also at the service.

Husband and father John Bickley paid tribute to his wife saying that she was the rock of the family, he said his eldest son Felix was his best friend and he couldn't have asked for a better son in Oscar.

One woman fell to the floor in grief as John recalled his last words to his wife in a phone call earlier that evening: "I love you", "I love you too."
