Jellyfish washed up on beach

We're being warned to watch our step on our regions beaches with loads of jellyfish being washed up on the sand.

Denbighshire council called in experts from the Rhyl SeaQuarium to identify the jellyfish there.

Whilst around one hundred of the creatures are being washed up onto the beach at Hoylake on the Wirral.

Steven Travis is the coastguard at Hoylake he says:

"Although the Jelly fish on the beach appear to be dead, they still can sting you. So keep well away from them and keep pets away from them and don't be tempted to throw stones at them."

"If you get stung, don't worry, just keep it clean and call a doctor."
