Teenager dies after car crash

The teenager who was driving the car involved in the car crash in Llandudno late on Thursday evening 9th September has died in hospital.


17 year old Ryan Llewelyn Owen, who was from Llandudno, sadly passed away in Glan Clwyd hospital at 5 pm on Saturday 11th September.

The accident happened on Thursday evening when a silver Peugeot car collided with a signpost on Conway Road on the A470.

The drivers of three other vehicles suspected of travelling in convoy with the Peugeot were arrested and have now been released on Police bail pending a full investigation into the circumstances of the accident.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact officers from the western roads policing at Llandegai on 101 if in Wales, or 08456071001 (Welsh line) 08456071002 (English line).
