Three arrested in drugs raids
Police have raided houses in North Wales with a huge haul of class A drugs being recovered.
Three people have been arrested as a result of the searches in Prestatyn and Rhyl.
A man and woman from Roy Avenue have been arrested in connection with the supply and intent to supply, controlled drugs. The man was also arrested in relation to serious violent offences.
Another man was also arrested in a further raid at an address in Warren Road, Rhyl for offences relating to the supply of Class A drugs.
DCI Steve Williams, who led the operation said: "These warrants were executed as a result of received intelligence. I would like to emphasise that North Wales Police will do everything we can to target those responsible for serious criminal offences."
A considerable amount of class A drugs, but no firearms, have so far been recovered in relation to these searches.
