Venables jailed for two years

One of Liverpool Toddler James Bulgers killers - Jon Venables has been jailed for two years after he pleaded guilty to three charges of downloading and distributing indecent images of children.

He's also been banned from using the internet for five years.

It was also revealed in court that at the time of his arrest for the offences he was living in Cheshire.

James Bulger's killer has appeared via videolink in front of a judge at The Old Bailey.

He's admitted downloading and distributing indecent images of youngsters.

He was 10 years old when he and Robert Thompson murdered the toddler in Liverpool in 1993.

The pair were released with new identities in 2001.
