Two Birmingham men have been charged with assisting an offender over an alleged murder in Pakistan.
49-year-old Gulam Asia died after being shot several times outside her home in the country's capital, Lahore, on July 27th 2013.
Tariq Rana, 30, is accused of her murder, and was charged by the Metropolitan Police in London.
Nargis Ahmed, 33, and Mohammed Adeel, 35, both from Birmingham, are both accused of helping the alleged murderer under section 9 of the Offences against the Person Act 1981.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said it provides authority to try a UK national for an offence of murder committed overseas.'
Rana, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Wednesday after an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's homicide and major crime command.
All three defendants will appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court in north London later today.
