A body has been found in the search for missing Daniel Hodgin who disappeared on a night out in Shrewsbury.
Police have told Heart a search team looking for missing man Daniel Hodgin has uncovered a body in the river at Cressage in Shropshire.
The body of a man was found by a search team at around 12.25pm today (Wednesday 31st December) and has been recovered from the water.
Formal identification has not yet taken place and the death is being treated as unexplained.
Daniel Hodgin, aged 20 from Madeley in Telford, was reported missing in the early hours of Sunday 23rd November, after he failed to return from a night out in Shrewsbury.
DS Rob Mountford said "Formal identification has not yet taken place but Daniel?s family has been made aware. My thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.
"I would like to thank West Midlands Search and Rescue Team for their help. The investigation into Daniel's disappearance still continues."
