Brooke Kinsella in the Midlands
Drama students from the Midlands are reminding commuters about the dangers of knife crime.
The group from Great Barr school are at Birmingham New Street Station, performing a play that highlights issues of gang culture and the consequences of carrying a weapon.
The money for it came from the Ben Kinsella Fund, which was set up in memory of Ben who was stabbed to death in 2008.
His sister and Ex Eastenders Actress Brooke Kinsella came along to watch the play in Birmingham. She told Heart it gave her goosebumps:
'In five minutes they summed up the dangers of knife crime amazingly. We've seen a mother who's lost her child, we've seen the fact that your own life can be turned on you and harm you'.
She added it was tough seeing it after what happened to her brother:
'As soon as they said my brother's name and held up his picture I was welling up but it's not even just the fact it was my brother, it's the fact that hundreds of families are going through this and it needs to stop'.
The performance is part of an initiative by the British Transport Police.
