A Heart investigation's found almost half of adults in Birmingham have sent an explicit message or photo to someone.

There are now calls for children under the age of 11 to be taught about the dangers of sending sexually explicit photos.

Out of the people we spoke to 41 per cent admitted they'd sent a "sext" and 10 per cent told us they had a bad experience after sending one.

The Heart survey also found that 49 per cent had received an explicit message or photo and 38 per cent knew a friend who'd had a bad experience from sending one.

'Hannah' who didn't want her real name revealed - lives in Yardley.

She was threatened with images she sent being put on Facebook:
