Jodie Stimpson Talks To Heart After Commonwealth Gold Double

After a second gold medal in the Commonwealth Games, West Midlands athlete Jodie Stimpson's told Heart the support back home's been amazing.

She's been speaking to us after she won the triathalon earlier this week and yesterday alongside the Brownlee brothers won the team relay triathalon.

Vicky Holland, Jonny Brownlee, Jodie Stimpson and Alistair Brownlee were all medallists in the individual events on Thursday, with the Alistair and Jodie both winning gold.

Jodie said: "It's so exciting. It's not only exciting for the spectators, it's brilliant to be a part of. It's definitely full on but it shows weaknesses. You have to be strong and you can't have a weak link in the team."
