Missing Telford Man's Death 'Unexplained'

Police say the discovery of the body of a missing Telford man in a river is being treated as 'unexplained'.
West Mercia Police confirmed the body found in the River Severn in Cressage, at 12.25pm on New Year's Eve is that of 20-year-old Daniel Hodgin.
From Madeley, Telford, he was reported missing in the early hours of Sunday 23 November 2014 folloding a night out in Shrewsdbury.
Searches were carried out and several appeals were made, and his death is being treated as unexplained.
DS Rob Mountford said: “Our thoughts go out to Daniel’s family and friends at this very sad time. This is a tragic loss of life, of someone so young.
"All of our officers involved in the investigation into Daniel’s disappearance have shown a great deal of commitment and professionalism, and we’d particularly like to thank West Midlands Search and Rescue for their integral role in the search.”
