Passport control
If you have a chip in your passport - you can now use new gates at Birmingham Airport making it quicker to go through border control.
Airport bosses are encouraging us to use their new facial recognition system.
Rather than queing up, you can now swipe your passport, the computer scans your face and you walk straight through.
The gates, recently installed at the airport, can be used by any UK or European passenger aged over 18 who has a new biometric passport with an electronic chip.
If you don't have the chip inside your passport, you won't be able to use the gates however, once you renew your passport it will automatically have a chip in it.
