5th Arrest Over Stabbing in Birmingham

POLICE investigating a double stabbing at the Mailbox have arrested a fifth man

The 49 year-old-man's being questioned on suspicion of violent disorder after being released from hospital earlier where he was treated for a chest wound

He's the FIFTH person to be arrested over the fight at Bar Room Bar on Saturday night. It is believed the incident was as a result of an ongoing dispute between two families.

A 42-year-old-man, who was arrested Sunday night by police remains in hospital while he is treated for a leg wound.

A 51 year old man who was also arrested Sunday for violent disorder has been bailed with strict conditions while enquiries continue.

Two other men aged 18 and 20 who were arrested on Saturday night have also been bailed with conditions in connection with the incident.

Police investigations into the disorder at Bar Room Bar in the Mailbox continue and police are renewing their appeal for any witnesses to contact them on 101.
