Birmingham taxi murder accused in court

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of young mum of three who was stabbed to death in a Birmingham Taxi.

Mother of three Natasha Trevis died from multiple stab injuries following the attack in Northfield on Tuesday August 7th.

Mr Oakes trial is likely to start in January.

Emergency workers were called to Dimsdale Road, near the junction with Hoggs Lane, at around 8am and found the 22-year-old victim in cardiac arrest after suffering multiple stab wounds. 

Ms Trevis, from the Weoley Castle area of the city, was pronounced dead at the scene around 30 minutes later. 

A man was arrested by police officers who found him in a garden in nearby Allens Farm around 10 hours after the attack. 

He was charged by detectives and appeared before Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 9th August.
