Woman Who Died Of Head Injuries In Smethwick Named

A 48 year-old woman from Smethwick who died on a street there has been named as Glynis Bensley.
She was found collapsed on Cheshire Road just before 11.50pm on Wednesday 3 September.
Medical staff pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police have told Heart that a post mortem examination confirmed her death was caused by head injuries.
A 14 year-old boy who was arresrted on suspicion of murder last Thursday (4 September) afternoon is now on conditional bail while police enquiries continue.
DCI Sam Ridding from CID at West Midlands police said: "We are still piecing together all of the information we have gathered to determine Glynis' last movements and what led to her tragic death.
"Our thoughts remain with Glynis' family and friends who are devastated by what has happened and specially trained officers are working with them at this time."
