Three Men Die In Westbury Crash

Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Westbury.

The collision involved two vehicles - a Citreon Saxo and a Scania LGV and happened around 10.30pm on Friday 5th December 2014 on Quartermaster Road, West Wilts Industrial Estate.

Sadly, all three young men in the Citreon Saxo - an 18 year old from Devizes and two men, both aged 20 from Trowbridge - were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the LGV was uninjured.

The road was closed for seven hours whilst the Serious Collision Investigation Team attended the scene.

Formal identification is yet to take place.

Superintendent Gavin Williams said:

"This is a tragic incident where three people have lost their lives and my thoughts are with their family and friends during this extremely difficult time. I would ask that if anyone has any information about this collision to contact Wiltshire Police as soon as possible."
