Biker denies causing death of pillion

A motorcyclist today (Tue) denied causing the death of his woman pillion passenger by dangerous driving on the Wirral.

29-year-old Christina Flynn was killed in the crash on the Rock Ferry bypass as she sat behind rider Robert Caddick. She died at the scene from head injuries.

Caddick, 34, pleaded not guilty to causing her death by dangerous driving on 19 July last year. He broke both legs in the crash and struggled into court on crutches.

Alongside Caddick, of Telephone Road, Southsea, Hampshire, was another motorcyclist - the victim's brother, Darren Flynn.

31-year-old Flynn, of Guilsted Road, Norris Green, Liverpool, pleaded not guilty to driving a Kawasaki motor cycle dangerously on the same date.

The Recorder of Liverpool, Judge Henry Globe, QC, remanded both men on bail to await their trial, expected to last five days, beginning on August 16.
