All About Jeff

We dig deep and find out all you need to know about Jeff Nolan

What was the last CD you bought/track you downloaded? Probably The Verves last one

Most listened to track on my iPod: Believe it or not I do not own one!

Most embarrassing track on my iPod: See above

What’s your karaoke track of choice? I have a couple to be honest! Aswad don’t turn around (depending on how drunk I am) and Madness - It must be love is the other one In fact if I were ever to do Stars In Your Eyes I would go on as Suggs.

First album I bought: Right Said Fred Up and Charles and Eddie Duophonic one on the same day from Our Price in Central Station Liverpool (I miss that shop)

Favourite gig you’ve ever been to?  Madness Madstock 98! I had backstage passes too and danced to one step beyond with Cerys Matthews from Catatonia who was supporting them which made it even more amazing.

What's your favourite place? It would have to be the short trip over the water to my beloved Goodison Park

Favourite drinking hole?  Halfway house on the Woodchurch Rd or The Shrew in Oxton but if I’m in Liverpool it has to be The White Star in Matthew St.

Favourite place to get away from it all:  On the Ferry. Something about the sea air that chills me out

Favourite thing to do in the area: Chilling out on a really sunny day up in Hoylake or West Kirkby

Favourite place to go shopping: Asda in Woodchurch for my food and when it comes to clothes it would be Burtons in Birkenhead.

Time to get personal...

What makes you laugh? Kicking back a few beers with my best mate Chris who is the only person I know who has the same random funny outlook on life as I do. I’d say he has made me laugh more then any comedian or film or TV show I have seen over the past 10 years.

What's the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? Aint nothing over till its over – Rocky Balboa

How would your best friend describe you in three words? Radio Ric Flair

Which bit of your body do you like the least? My knees because they are not working as well as they once did.

Why didn't you ask me about? My short lived TV career in the late 90’s

What were you like at school? I think my mum would be better answering that but for the record I’d say I was a good boy.

We’re buying, what will you have? Pint of Carling Cold please!

From my wardrobe you can have.. All my old radio station T Shirts

If you're getting a takeaway I’ll have: Pizza – Meat Feast

Facebook is: Taking over my life

Favourite meal of all time: A Sunday roast at my parents

Best ever holiday destination:  I don’t ever go on holidays! I have not been on a proper holiday since 1993 and that was the Lake District but if I can get away for the weekend I love going down to London and sitting in the sun in Camden Town with an ice cold beer

3 items you can’t live without: Phone, Cash Card and my Everton Season Ticket

Favourite TV show: It’s not a show but its on all day at my flat and that would be Sky Sports News.

Dream dinner party guests:  Larry David, Andy Kaufman, Sly Stallone, Ric Flair, David Hasselhoff and Mr T! My god that would be one mad night :-)
