Huddersfield: Murder Investigation Launched

West Yorkshire Police have launched a murder investigation after a man's body was found in a flat in Huddersfield.

Detectives have told us the body was discovered in Ashenhurst Rise, Newsome, at about 13:00 BST. 

Det Ch Insp Adrian Taylor said the identity of the deceased was unclear but the attack was being treated as isolated. 

A 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
