Three People Taken To Hospital After Crash Near Cambridge

Three people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A11 near Cambridge.

Emergency services were called at around 6am this morning (18 October) to reports two vehicles had collided on the northbound carriageway, between the A1307 at Little Abington and the A1304, Six Mile Bottom.

One of the vehicles had left the road and crashed into some trees.

The northbound stretch was closed until around 11am this morning. Part of the soundbound carriageway at Worsted Lodge was also temporarily blocked due to debris.

The ambulance service attended along with police and fire crews.

Three people have been taken Addenbrooke's Hospital. A fourth casualty was treated at the scene.
