Cambridgeshire Police have released five people who were arrested yesterday after a man died at convenience store in Fen Ditton on Monday morning.
On Monday morning, officers were called at 6.33am to the One Stop shop at the corner of Ditton Lane and Thorpe Way after reports of a disturbance beforehand outside the store close-by.
Shortly afterwards, it appears the victim, a local man in his 40s, had died at the store - when police arrived, they arrested a 45 year-old man on suspicion of GBH.
At lunchtime, police say a 40 year-old Cambridge man was also arrested, along with a 50 year-old man from Fenstanton and a 44 year-old Cambridge man on suspicion of manslaughter.
On Monday evening a fifth man, a 69 year-old, was also arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
The group are being questioned at Thorpe Wood Police station in Peterborough.
Today (Tuesday), Cambridgeshire Police say four men arrested on suspicion of manslaughter have been released on police bail.
The four men, three from Cambridge aged 40, 44 and 69, and a 50 year-old man from Fenstanton, were released until February 11.
A 45 year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm has been released with no further action taken.
Tuesday 4pm Update
Cambridgeshire Police say a post mortem on the man who died has proved inconclusive.
The man, who is in his 40s and from Cambridge, died after police were called to an incident at a premises in Ditton Lane at just after 6.30am.
Further tests will now be carried out and the death continues to be treated as unexplained.
Wednesday 9am Update
Police say they received reports of the man, who later died, biting a dog, outside the One Stop shop.
They also received reports of the dog owner being involved in an alteraction with the man who died.
Officers are still trying to work out exactly what happened.
