Firefighters from Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire have put out a fire which has gutted three businesses.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue have told Heart they were called to a building fire at Little America Industrial Estate, in Moor Road, Staughton Moor at 2.33am.
The first firefighters on the scene (pictured/courtesy Cambs FRS) were met with industrial units which were well alight and they called for assistance from more crews.
Two crews from St Neots, one crew from Kimbolton, two crews and the command unit from Huntingdon, a water carrier from Yaxley and another water carrier from Kempston and two crews from Bedford, both from Bedfordshire, attended the incident.
Multiple industrial units - containing three businesses were totally involved in the fire and efforts were made to prevent the fire from spreading.
The fire was out in around an hour but firefighters remained on scene through the morning to continue damping down.
A fire investigation is underway into the cause of the fire; thankfully, there were no casualties.
Station Commander Kevin Napier, officer in charge of the incident, said: "Owing to the remote and rural location, water supplies were scarce making this a difficult fire initially to extinguish until further resources were on the scene. We must give praise to the initial crews for their efforts to contain the fire and ultimately stopping the spread to a third business and saving this third unit."
