Man Gets Arm Trapped In Cement Mixer In Doddington

A man has been left with a badly broken arm after getting it trapped in a cement mixer in Doddington.
A man has been taken to hospital after injuring his arm in a cement mixer.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received several 999 calls at 1.55pm yesterday and sent an ambulance and East Anglian Air Ambulance to the incident which happened near Doddington.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "The man, who we believe to be in his 60s, suffered serious arm injuries after it got trapped in a cement mixer. The air ambulance flew to the scene, assessing and treating the casualty alongside the EEAST crew.
"The man had broken his arm badly in two separate places and was taken by land ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital for emergency treatment."
