Man Has Heart Attack On A14

A man has been taken to hospital after suffering a cardiac attest on the A14 in Cambridgeshire.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) was called at 9.40am yesterday (31st December) to treat a man in a car that had come to a stop on the A14 at Milton.

Two ambulance crews, one rapid response vehicle, and an ambulance officer were sent to the scene.

A critical care paramedic from the East Anglian Air Ambulance also attended in a response car.

Medics treated a man in his 40s who was unconscious and in a critical condition.

The patient was taken by land ambulance to Papworth Hospital for further treatment.
