Peterborough Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder following two stabbings in Peterborough on Wednesday.

Police were called at just after 1.15pm following the assaults in Lincoln Road, Millfield.
 
Two men were taken to hospital where their injuries were described as serious but non-life threatening.
 
Sabeil Parvez, 27, of Alexandra Road, Peterborough, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court this morning (July 11).
