Queen Honours Cambridgeshire

The Queen has honoured people across Cambridgeshire who've served their country, their industry and their communities.

CBE

Tim Oates (Swaffham Bulbeck). Group director of Assessment Research and Development Cambridge Assessment receives a CBE for services to Education.

Professor Sharon Peacock (Cambridge) receives a CBE for services to Medical Microbiology.

Michael Sheffield (Huntingdon), the formerly Group chief executive Officer Kier Group plc receives a CBE for services to Civil Engineering, Construction and Charitable Fundraising.

Writer Ali Smith (Cambridge) receives a CBE for services to Literature.


OBE

Helen Bond (Barton) receives an OBE for services to the Women's Institute and to the community in Cambridge.

Julie Deane (Great Shelford), the Co-owner and founder of The Cambridge Satchel Company receives an OBE for services to Entrepreneurship.

Professor Iram Siraj (Stapleford), receives an OBE for services to Education. 


MBE

Rosalind Fulcher (March), Prison Officer at HMP Huntercombe receives an MBE for services to HM Prison Service.

Dennis Holland (Peterborough), Higher Executive Officer Ministry of Defence receives an MBE for services to Aviation Safety.

Lynda Rowbotham (Peterborough) Head of Legal Advice at the Royal Mencap Society receives an MBE for services to people with Learning Disabilities and their Families.
