Woman Dies In Lorry Crash In Godmanchester

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Godmanchester last night.

The incident happened at around 9.30pm when a Ford Focus and a Mercedes lorry collided on the A1198 near Lattenbury Hill.

I am sorry to say the driver of the Ford, a 33-year-old woman from Huntingdon, suffered fatal injuries.

The driver of the lorry, a 60 year-old-man from Skegness, was uninjured.

Sgt Paul Tanner said: "I would like to hear from anyone who was travelling on this part of the A1198 and witnessed either vehicle in the moments leading up to the incident or saw the collision."
