"I love Christmas as a day to spend with the family. My husband James and I both work irregular hours, so we value the 25th not just for it's true meaning but also for the opportunity to all be together. Our daughter is now two and she will be more involved this year as she'll get to meet Santa and we plan to embrace the 'excitement' of Christmas Eve - of leaving a beer out for Santa and biscuits for the reindeer!! It's a magical time with wonderful festive music, amazing family films and a perfect opportunity to spend quality, uninterrupted time with the ones you love most. This year, my mum and dad will be visiting us for a family Christmas. We also plan to visit James' mum over the festive period so we will definitely be having a double celebration ...which also means a double hit of turkey! Christmas Day starts with seeing if Santa has been... then a big walk with our dog followed by a glass of champagne and presents (if there are any!!). Later James and I brave the kitchen and the oven as we make the meal which usually is late afternoon. Then the evening is about dancing, playing games and generally involves a lot of laughing!"
